Hong Kong, 14 November 2018 – Hong Kong, China Delegation returned from 3^rd Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Buenos Aires, Argentina held from 6 to 18 October 2018, bringing home two Silver and a Bronze medals.

Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) organized the Welcome Home Reception for the 3^rd YOG Delegation today. VIPs included the Hon. Mr. LAU Kong-wah, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs of Home Affairs Bureau, Mr. Timothy T. T. FOK, GBS, JP, International Olympic Committee Hon. Member and President of SF&OC, Mr. Ronnie M. C. WONG, JP, Hon. Secretary General of SF&OC and Mr. WONG Po Kee, MH, Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the 3^rd YOG. The officiating guests presented certificates to all attending Delegation members as a recognition of their efforts and determination.

The Federation sent a record of 25 Hong Kong, China athletes taking part in 9 sports events in the 3^rd YOG, includes:  Aquatics – Swimming, Athletics, Beach Handball, Equestrian – Jumping, Fencing, Rowing, Sailing – Windsurfing, Table Tennis and Triathlon. They also participated in various educational and cultural activities to learn more about the Olympic values and to experience the Argentine culture.
